Galaxy Watch 9 drops to $299 in latest deal two months after launch
The Galaxy Watch 9 has dropped in price while everything else seems to go up, stopping at $299 for the 40mm model in Samsung’s latest deal.
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 series is the latest in a long line of smartwatches, launching in late July. The newest versions bring a few new upgrades, like an internal bump to Snapdragon Wear Elite chipsets and expansive vitals tracking.
Visually, these are similar in almost every way to the Galaxy Watch 8 and even Watch 7 series. Everything that counts sits on the inside. That being said, there is no Galaxy Watch 9 Classic option. But there is a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 variant for the power user.
The base Galaxy Watch 9 is currently down to $299 from its usual $379 in Samsung’s current smartwatch deal. That’s a $79 drop without a trade-in or any other caveat. It’s worth noting that some have seen the watch drop to $320, while others are seeing it at $300. In either case, it’s a good deal for what is essentially a brand-new watch.
If you need the next size up, the 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 is down to $349 with the same discount applied. The deals apply to both the cream and graphite colorways, with a choice of band colors and styles.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is also on sale right now, but it starts a little higher than the other two at $579 instead of $699.
We’re not sure how long this deal will last, but it’s worth looking into, considering there’s no guarantee on anything’s price anymore.
