Here are the requirements to get Siri AI in iOS 27
iOS 27 launched today, and with it Siri AI has debuted as a major upgrade to Apple’s assistant. But there are several requirements Apple has in order to gain access to Siri AI.
Siri AI is supported on all Apple Intelligence-compatible devices.
That means you’ll need an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Even then though, certain advanced features are only available on iPhone 17 Pro and newer.
All Macs with Apple silicon are supported, and iPads require A17 Pro or newer. Any Apple Watch model that can run watchOS 27 is compatible with Siri AI. And all Vision Pro models are supported.
Siri AI is not (yet) available for Apple TV or HomePod.
At launch, Siri AI is only available for devices where the language is set to English.
Next month, Apple says Siri AI will also support French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
That expansion will presumably come with iOS 27.1, which is launching no later than October 23.
Apple says that Siri AI is not available for users under 13.
There are no exceptions to this requirement. Even if a child under 13 gets parental permission, they can’t access Siri AI on their device.
