How to complete An Unheard Farewell in Valor Mortis
Find the missing scouts for the Adjutant Sous-Officier.

⚔️ Find the cave with the missing scouts halfway up the elevator shaft after you unblock the top level.⚔️ No matter what you choose to tell the Adjutant Sous-Officier, you'll get the Sleight of Hand amber.⚔️ You will, however, get a bonus reward depending on whether you told the truth or lied.
An Unheard Farewell is likely the first quest you'll encounter in Valor Mortis, and it sees you helping the Adjutant Sous-Officier in the Valley of Ashes track down his missing scouts.
The scouts are located in a cave halfway up the elevator shaft from 'The Climb' lantern, but you'll have to progress to the top of the elevator first to unlock the route.
If you continue along the main track after this, you'll eventually find yourself back at the Adjutant Sous-Officier, where you can choose whether you want to tell him the truth about the fate of his scouts or lie.
