GOG’s Big Shooter Sale Includes A Ton Of Great Games That Cost $10 Or Less
I love a good first- or third-person shooter. Especially a good, classic shooter with snappy combat, punchy guns, and silky smooth performance. So Good Old Games’ latest big sales event, which features a ton of old-school (and newer) shooters including Fear, Far Cry, and Turok, is right up my alley. And also, going to suck some dollars from my wallet.
Running from now until August 15, the GOG “Shooter Promo” sale (not the most creative name…) has over 400 different PC games marked down. And a lot of these older games are marked down considerably. In fact, there’s a ton of great stuff, like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Metro 2033, and Red Faction, that you can buy for under $10.
In today’s economy, getting a good video game for cheap is always appreciated. Even better, some of these games, like FEAR and Stranglehold, are part of GOG’s excellent preservation program. As always, GOG games don’t use DRM and can be played fully offline, too.
To help you stop scrolling and start shooting, I’ve compiled a list of some good deals on some solid shooters. All of these are under $10.
