Forget The Heists, I Can’t Wait To Spend Hours Dressing Up GTA 6′s Protagonists
I’ve never played a GTA before. When GTA 5 came out, in 2013, I had just graduated college and was still only just emerging from a youth largely characterized by prudishness and strict morals that did not leave a lot of room for heist simulators. Fortunately for me and everyone who knows me, it’s been over a decade since then, and I’m a different person now: a person who, among many other facets, is committed to playing GTA 6. Let me shoot things! Let me do heists! Bring on the crime!
Look, I mean it when I say that I’m going to play GTA 6 for the GTA 6 of it all, but with this latest slate of screenshots released by Rockstar for the upcoming game, I’m now convinced that I’m also going to spend hours just dressing up Jason and Lucia in sick fashion. I mean, just look at these guys:
That jacket and skirt combo? That shirt with those shades? Okay!
And there are so, so many more of these. They both look so good. This is a huge improvement over the protagonist trio of GTA 5 who, while dress-up-able, were neither as hot as Jason and Lucia, nor did they have as much fashion game as these two do.
I’m someone who will spend hours in character creators tweaking all sorts of little details if I’m given time to. I love changing the clothes of my Sims, my Pokémon trainers, heck, even my World of Warcraft character. I am unbelievably stoked for the huge amount of sick outfits on offer for Jason and Lucia, plus all the other customizable elements like hair, nails, and tattoos. It does, unfortunately, look like I’m going to have to shell out $100 in order to access them all, and I’m still a little unsure about that. But I’ve never felt this compelled to buy a Deluxe Edition of anything before, that’s for sure. It’s just so neat that Rockstar Games made such a cool dress-up game for us that also happens to have car chases and bank robberies attached.
