iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max pre-orders now delayed to October for most models
If you haven’t yet ordered your iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max, you’ll likely be waiting until October for delivery. Here’s the latest update on iPhone 18 Pro pre-order shipping times.
Apple opened up iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-orders over the weekend, and after a couple days of sales, delivery times have largely slipped into October.
The earliest pre-orders will get delivered this Friday, September 18, the same day Apple Stores will have the first stock.
But as of today, in the US Apple Store you’ll see the following shipping estimates:
So if you’re shopping for an iPhone 18 Pro Max, expect to wait nearly a month for your order to be delivered.
Things are slightly better with the smaller iPhone 18 Pro, but you’re still likely looking at an October delivery unless Apple hits the very early target of its estimate.
It’s still too early to know how well iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are selling overall at this point. We also aren’t sure how much the smaller flagship lineup this year will impact sales. But delivery times being pushed out multiple weeks already seems like a positive sign.
