Game Pass Is Getting Final Fantasy 7 And Last Year’s Best Supernatural Detective Mystery

The second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for October 2026 has been revealed, and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is joining the subscription service for the first time after finally being ported to the console earlier this year. The hit RPG isn’t the only notable addition this month, however.
The other is The Séance of Blake Manor, a detective game that launched last October. It takes place in 1897 Ireland and you play as someone sent to a remote hotel to investigate the whereabouts of a missing woman. Unlike some of your standard deduction-based visual novels, Blake Manor includes full 3D environments and a time limit that ticks down with each new action and line of questioning. It looks like Blue Prince but plays like Return of the Obra Dinn.
Here’s everything joining Xbox Game Pass in wave 2 for October 2026:
The addition of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, meanwhile, serves two purposes. It caps off a year of Final Fantasy games getting added to the service beginning with the Pixel Remasters. It also provides a no-commitments catch-up mechanism for Game Pass subscribers ahead of Revelation releasing next spring. It’s one of the best RPGs of the decade, and most Xbox users probably still haven’t tried it.
Othersise, things like Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Mouthwashing round out a decent second half to the month. Also worth noting is the Elder Scrolls Online season 2 update Echoes of Skyrim is landing on October 21 with two new solo dungeons. As for what’s leaving Game Pass in the next 30 days, there’s nothing too major. Following Double Fine Productions’ split with Microsoft earlier this year, both Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered will get pulled from Game Pass on October 31.
