Early Black Friday Mattress Deals: Get Up to 35% Off WIRED-Tested Favorites
Mattress sales come and go so often that it’s hard to determine what’s an actual deal. The times of year when we see the most legit mattress deals are Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. And this year is no different. We’re already seeing our favorite WIRED-tested bedding and mattress brands offering discounts leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I’ll be on the lookout for more deals as we approach the actual event, so be sure to check back often for fresh discounts on these often-pricey purchases. Note that all mattress prices below are for queen sizes.

This Helix mattress has been our top pick for years and remains one of the most popular bed-in-a-box options for good reason. Its plush pillowtop and medium-firm feel make it comfortable for nearly any sleeper, whether they sleep on their side, back, or stomach.
We love Helix in general, and right now the brand has 20 percent off sitewide when you use the Helix promo code BF20. It also offers special discounts, including 25 percent off Luxe mattresses with promo code LUXE25 and 30 percent off Elite mattresses with code ELITE30. (All listed Helix promo codes are valid through November 29.)
We really love this organic mattress. When we tested the Luxe model above, we found it offered a lovely balance of plush comfort and pressure relief, with just enough bounce to make it a great choice for back sleepers seeking a little extra support. But all of Birch's models are made from natural materials like wool, latex, and cotton, without any polyurethane-based foams.
Birch's Black Friday sale runs through November 29, with 25 percent off sitewide when you use the Birch promo code BF25.
The firm Bear Elite Hybrid has long been one of our top picks for back pain. Both reviewers who tested it agree that you love it more the longer you sleep on it. Bear mattresses also keep you cool, with phase-change material that absorbs body heat and copper-infused memory foam that wicks it away.
Bear Mattress has a Black Friday Sale running through November 29, with 35 percent off sitewide and a free bundle of two pillows and a mattress protector with promo code BF35.
This was former WIRED reviewer (and sleep expert) Julia Forbes’ all-time favorite mattress. She appreciated that its extra springiness provided added support and firmness, making it ideal for side sleepers.
