Mario Kart World Gets Classic SNES Courses In Its Latest Free Update
A bunch of retro Mario Kart courses are coming to Mario Kart World in today’s free update. Revealed during the September Nintendo Direct, these include classics like Choco Island, Ghost Valley, and Mario Circuit, complete with question blocks that appear on the ground.
The new tracks will be available in Versus mode, but Knockout is getting two new tours as well. There are 10 new classic courses being added in total:
Knockout is getting new tours called Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally. The game now also has a Spectator Mode when playing with friends online or via LAN Play.

The latest content update for Mario Kart World arrives the same month as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got a free Switch 2 upgrade adding eight-player split-screen and some visual improvements.
