Apple just released new AirPods Pro 3 firmware, more for iOS 27

Apple has released new firmware for AirPods Pro 3 and select other AirPods models, adding support for the latest iOS 27 features. Today Apple launched iOS 27 on iPhone, and now the company is rolling out new AirPods firmware that supports the update’s latest features. AirPods 5 will support the new firmware too when they ship later this week. Apple’s new firmware adds compatibility and support for the latest AirPods features in iOS 27. About half the new features are exclusive to AirPods Pro 3, while the rest are more broadly available. Apple doesn’t offer a way to manually trigger an AirPods firmware update.
