Rugby league fans in Wakefield for bus parade
Thousands of Wakefield Trinity fans came out to celebrate their team
Thousands of rugby league fans turned out to watch an open-top bus parade, after Wakefield Trinity were crowned Super League champions.
Trinity beat Warrington Wolves 23-10 in Saturday's Grand Final at Old Trafford - their first title win since 1968, long before Super League was established.
To celebrate the victory, two buses, carrying players and staff, travelled from the club's ground at Belle Vue to Wakefield Town Hall for a civic reception.
Fullback Max Jowitt, who has made 188 appearances for Trinity and scored three goals in the final, said the parade had been an "unbelievable" experience.
"The fans have been unbelievable, the city is unbelievable and the trophy's unbelievable," he said.

Fans lined city centre streets to see the buses, which arrived at Wakefield Town Hall at about 15:00.
Jane Robinson became a Wakefield Trinity fan through her late husband, who supported the side from childhood.
She was at the game at Old Trafford, where the team became only the sixth club to win the Super League title.
