Apple released iOS 27.2 beta 3 on Monday for developers, with build number 24B5099f. It comes two weeks after the release of the second beta. A new public beta was released on Tuesday, ahead of a final release to everyone before the end of the month.
Apple teased a new Apple Music logo when it announced Apple Music Hall last month, and iOS 27.2 beta 3 suggests it’s about to roll out everywhere. The new logo uses a bolder typeface than the old logo, plus a lowercase “m” in “music.”
Apple has also started rolling it out to the Apple Music sign-up flow in iOS 27.2 beta 3.
Code references in iOS 27.2 beta 3 suggest Apple is working on a new setting that gives users more control over the suggested actions that appear in the Messages app, such as the “Add to Calendar” button.
The code hints that you’ll be able to disable suggested actions for individual apps, including Calendar, Reminders, Notes, and Maps. The change isn’t actually enabled yet, and it’s possible Apple scraps it before releasing it.

As spotted by Beta Profiles on X, iOS 27.2 beta 3 brings new Liquid Glass design changes to the Apple Books app. There’s also a new progress bar for tracking your progress when reading a book.
Apple is expected to unveil the touchscreen MacBook Pro as soon as this month. macOS 27.2 beta 3 includes even more hints at Apple’s work optimizing macOS to support touch interactions. The update includes new “gesture recognition tools” for several stock Apple apps.
