Shocked NHS colleagues grieve 'exceptional doctor'
Flowers and tributes were left outside the surgery where Hannah Cain worked
The colleagues of a GP found dead at her home have spoken of their profound shock at the loss of an "exceptional doctor".
Hannah Cain, 45, known to her patients as Dr Hannah Terry, was found at a property in Fern Hill, Dersingham, Norfolk, on Sunday. Her husband, Mark Cain, is due at King's Lynn Crown Court later, charged with her murder.
The GP was based at Grimston Medical Centre and had previously been at Heacham Group Practice for several years.
"We have lost an outstanding doctor, a cherished colleague and a friend, and her absence will be felt deeply across our health community," said a statement issued on behalf of primary care organisations across west Norfolk.
"The profound sense of shock and sadness across our practices and the wider NHS community speaks to the impact Hannah had on so many people."
It said its thoughts were with everyone who knew and loved Hannah, and it was grateful for the compassion and understanding shown by patients, communities and partner organisations.

The statement continued: "Hannah was an exceptional doctor and a deeply valued member of our NHS and primary care community.
"Highly intelligent, kind and generous, she brought warmth and positivity to those around her.
