We'll dress women for court to empower them on their darkest days
Sarah Lee was worried how she would be perceived as a witness
Walking into a witness box to give evidence is one of the most daunting things a person can do.
Giving evidence as a victim of a sexual assault case is even more challenging.
That's something rape survivor Sarah Lee knows too well.
Fears about being judged on her appearance added to that pressure.
"Should I wear this? How will that look? How am I going to be perceived? Will I be judged?," she told BBC Scotland News.
"Should I wear something that's closed? Should I wear something that's open?
"There's just all these questions, how will my hair look? You're anticipating that people... are going to put you on trial."
Sarah, 39, describes the trial as one of the darkest periods of her life. She was terrified that attention would focus on her appearance rather than her evidence.
