Google rolling out Pixel Watch 5 September update

Following last month’s launch, Google is rolling out the first update (September 2026) for the Pixel Watch 5 today. The Pixel Watch 5 goes from CD5A.260611.008 with the August 5, 2026 security patch level to CP3A.260905.002. This remains Wear OS 7 based on Android 17. As always, repeatedly tapping Settings > System > System updates should eventually pull the OTA, though the factory and OTA images are not yet live as of Tuesday afternoon.
