Oasis tease tour announcement with drone display

Oasis put on a drone show over their home city to announce their upcoming tour.
The band illuminated the sky over the Etihad's Joie Stadium, home to Manchester City Women, on Thursday evening.
A drone formation showed the band's logo and was replaced by the date 14.09.26 and the time 4pm BST [16:00], which is when the announcement expected to happen.
The band, who reunited for the first time since splitting in 2009 for the successful Live '25 tour last year, have been dropping hints about tour venues on social media recently.
Other possible locations the band have hinted at include the Etihad Stadium, Celtic Park and Knebworth
Liam and Noel Gallagher discussed their reunion in the new documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger, which was released on Wednesday.
The project, written by Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight, is part concert film and part documentary, and follows the band on the reunion tour that began in Cardiff in July 2025.
It also features the first joint interviews with the brothers in more than 20 years.
Other possible locations the band have hinted at include the Etihad Stadium, Celtic Park and Knebworth – where they played to 250,000 people in 1996 during their Britpop heyday.
