Rockstar Reveals Some Of The Radio Stations And Songs In GTA 6
Sure, Cyberleek dropped a new big Grand Theft Auto 6 leak, but that won’t stop Rockstar Games from also sharing new official information about its upcoming open-world sequel. Today’s big news drop is a small preview of just some of the radio stations and songs that players will be able to listen to in their cars and while running around on foot.
On October 8, Rockstar updated its official GTA 6 website and added a whole section dedicated to the in-game radio stations and music. According to the studio, GTA 6 features the “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio” yet seen in the franchise. Thanks to some previous leaks and trailers, we knew some of the music and stations that players could expect to find in GTA 6, but this is the first time the company has officially pulled back the curtain on the radio stations that will be featured in the game. And there’s some good stuff in here.
The new music section of the GTA 6 website includes previews from six different radio stations set to appear in the game. Here’s the list of stations and what kind of music to expect on them:
The previews include a few snippets from each station’s DJs as well as some bits of songs. And there’s some good stuff in here, including “Electric Feel” by MGMT, “Raining Blood” by Slayer, and “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’” by Loretta Lynn. Truly something for everyone.
Rockstar also confirmed that for the first time in franchise history, players will be able to listen to these and other radio stations on foot via Jason and Lucia’s phones. Players will also have a selection of “on-demand” podcasts that can be played while on foot or in your car. Rockstar also promises it has more to share about in-game music and the GTA 6 album coming soon.
