Deals: HomeView pre-order discount (more colors), HomePod mini 2, Mac Studio $220 off, AirPods Pro 3, more
While the $50 price drop on AirPods Pro 3 is still rolling, today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is headlined by some new pre-order discounts on the new Apple HomeView – Amazon now has some additional colorways marked down. We also uncovered some pre-order promotions for the new HomePod mini 2 alongside the lowest price we have tracked yet on Apple’s 1TB 2026 M5 Max Mac Studio at $220 off and Amazon’s giant ongoing $600 price drop on this M5 Pro MacBook Pro. Head below for a closer look at the details.
The all-new Apple HomeView made its official debut this week and Amazon has now expanded its early pre-order discount to some additional colors.
The new Apple HomeView comes in four colors: Starlight, Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Pink. Yesterday we spotted some early launch discounts on a couple of them, but Amazon is now delivering the early pre-order offer on a few others – the Starlight model has jumped back up to full price but the Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Pink are live at $289.99:
This the same price we spotted already for the Space Gray model, but we are now tracking the very first discounts on the Silver and Rose Pink variants.
We are already tracking pre-order discounts on the new Apple HomeView smart display alongside pre-orders for the next-gen Apple TV 4K and Apple TV Siri Remote at $59, but there are also some offers on the new HomePod mini 2 at Best Buy as well.
Amazon is not carrying the new HomePod mini 2, but Best Buy is and that means if you have some store credit or gift cards offers in the holster you’ll be able to lock in a deal on your new mini Apple speaker pre-order. We have featured loads of opportunities to secure some FREE Best Buy credits over the last several months and if you have any at the ready now might be the time to use them.
That said, Best Buy is also offering double rewards with HomePod mini 2 pre-orders for its My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members.
This offer is valid through 10/30/26 7:59 a.m. CT for both new and existing My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members – it works like this:
It’s certainly not a straight up cash discount or anything, but it is likely a better overall deal for members compared to pre-ordering straight from Apple, especially if you have some Best Buy gift cards laying in wait.
Apple has officially unleashed the new HomeView smart display and HomePod mini 2 for pre-order, as well as the new, and particularly expensive Apple TV 4K. If you are not ready to drop $299 for the upgraded Apple TV experience, you can at least upgrade your existing setup with the all-new Apple TV Siri Remote (4th generation) for just $59.
