How to watch the Made by Google event stream and Pixel 11 announcement
You might think you know everything about Google’s next-gen Pixel 11 lineup, but the company is still hoping to surprise you at tonight’s live primetime-adjacent Made by Google event and it’s sounding like one you won’t want to miss.
Like clockwork, Google is back with a late-summer launch for its latest Pixel devices, set to go live at 6pm ET and 3pm PT on Wednesday, August 12th. We already know the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and the 11 Pro Fold will all make their grand on-stage debuts tonight — the company has been doing its usual pre-launch teasing for weeks now — but we’re also expecting to see the Pixel Watch 5 and, based on 9to5Google‘s own leaks, the long-awaited Pixel Tag tracker. Plus, who knows what other surprises await viewers of tonight’s livestream?
Update: Google has revealed the entire Pixel 11 series early, so if you don’t want to wait, you can pre-order any of the phones — or the new Pixel Watch 5 — using the links below:
Following up on last year’s star-studded event, Google is once again rolling out the red carpet for some recognizable names. Trevor Noah takes over hosting duties from Jimmy Fallon, but we’re also expecting appearances from musician PinkPantheress, actors Ayami Nakajo and Daniel Durant, and athletes like JuJu Watkins, Chari Hawkins, and Shubman Gill. Meanwhile, podcaster Alex Cooper and NBA star (and typical Google guest) Steph Curry are set to make return appearances.
While the event itself is closed to the public — though our very own Abner Li will be on the ground covering any last-minute surprises — you can stream the entire event on the company’s YouTube channel using this link or the embedded video below. The fun all starts at 6pm ET, 3pm PT (or check your local timezone here).
