Best Tech Labor Day Sales I’d Shop Myself (2026): Vacuums, Headphones, and More
The last long weekend of summer has arrived, and with it, a slew of cart-worthy deals. While summer won't officially end for a few weeks, something about Labor Day feels like the last hurrah, and it makes for the perfect time to snag on-sale gadgets to set you up for a smooth fall and holiday season.
The sales started early this year, but they're still going strong with plenty of our favorite tech gear discounted during the holiday weekend. You can shop everything from high-quality headphones to Dyson vacuums and Apple AirTags. Every item we feature is a tech gadget the WIRED Reviews team has tested and loved, and a top pick from our guides ranging from headphones and speakers to vacuums and chargers.
Updated September 5: I've added new vacuum and smart home deals, and ensured all deals are still live.
This is the best Labor Day laptop deal we've found, which takes $700 off the HP OmniBook Ultra 14. It's one of our favorite new laptops to come out this year, sporting an absolutely immaculate design and a brilliant OLED display. We especially like the look of the large haptic trackpad and keycaps of the white version, though it's the black one that's on sale here. Beyond just being easy on eyes, it also performs like a dream, with both strong performance and fantastic battery life. While we liked the device when we reviewed it, it was quite expensive, and we'd been waiting for the price to drop to give a full-throated recommendation. Well, this is it. For $1,200, you're even getting 32 GB of RAM—double what comes on a MacBook Air at this price.
Need an AirTag to track your keys or luggage (or in my case, my son's backpack when we're on a trip)? Apple's line of Bluetooth trackers can add up if you need to buy a lot, but you can get $5 off a single one right now, or $10 off a four-pack.
If you're a Google Pixel user and you need a new case, Dbrand makes one of our favorite cases for Pixel phones—especially if you're in the market for a clear one. Its Pixelsnap-certified magnets are strong, the edges around the camera are slightly raised for extra protection, and it's grippy. There's no plasticky texture, either, which is nice to find on a clear case.
This charging tray from Courant is, simply put, gorgeous. It comes in both leather and linen finishes, and there are two chargers built into it for your phone and your wireless earbuds. The left charger is MagSafe-compatible, while the right side is a Qi charger you can use with either Apple or non-Apple products.
The best MagSafe car mount is usually pretty affordable, but this discount makes it even more attainable. It's well ventilated and sticks supremely to any flat surface. It's compatible with any MagSafe phone (or any magnetic phone case, which yours should be regardless of operating system.)
If you're looking to spend as little as possible without getting a crappy vacuum, Bissell makes our favorite affordable vacuums. The PowerClean and PowerClean FurFinder are both excellent, affordable choices that will still get you solid power, cleaning attachments, and a vacuum you can count on. The PowerClean is often on sale, and a good choice unless you want the special FurFinder attachment for pet hair.
Our top robot vacuum has dropped down to the best deal we've seen. It's often on sale for $850 and regularly jumps back up to its full $1,400 price. But right now, you can get it for just $750. If you're in the market and don't want to wait until fall shopping events like Prime Day or Black Friday, this is a safe buy for a great gadget. Built-in AI intelligently cleans tricky messes, and the extendable arm can reach places other vacuums can't. It also empties its own dust bin when cleaning is done, and it can even lift itself out of a situation when it gets stuck (most of the time).
