Tonnes of rubble including 'bits of old toilets' being dumped in village, residents claim
The company which owns the site has denied claims it is dumping waste and says it is creating a horse training area
Wales' environmental regulator has issued enforcement notices after reports of waste being dumped in two neighbouring villages.
Residents of Coedpoeth, Wrexham, say several trucks a day have been depositing thousands of tonnes of building rubble - including "bits of old toilets", plastics and metals - on a field at the edge of the village.
Reg Davies, who lives locally, said there were numerous 40-tonne trucks going to the site almost every day which he said was "destroying" the village.
The company which owns the site, SOS Aggregates, denied it was dumping waste and said it was using "high-grade" recycled construction material to create a training area for horses and a stable.

Half a mile away in the village of Minera, there have been reports of dozens of lorries tipping on a field opposite homes, as well as caravans and earthmovers installed on the site.
In Coedpoeth, villagers say lorries began dumping a few months ago on former farmland off Talwrn Road, and one person said so much had been deposited it had "levelled off" a hillside.
Davies said he feared the ongoing activity was "seriously polluting the environment".
He said they do not know what is in the spoil, and fear it could contain dangerous substances, such as asbestos, and polychlorinated biphenyls, external (PCBs).
