Samsung rolling out Android 17, One UI 9 for more Galaxy S26 users – here’s everything new
After a lengthy delay, Samsung is finally rolling out its Android 17-based One UI 9 update for Galaxy S26 users in the US more broadly.
Samsung announced its One UI 9 rollout early this month, but updates didn’t start flowing. Last week the update finally started to trickle out in the US, but only for users on T-Mobile.
Galaxy S26 users on unlocked devices in the US are now seeing One UI 9 land, Android 17 in tow, at least for those who were enrolled in the beta program. It’s still not a full rollout, but it’s another step towards the full debut. SammyGuru and others spotted the rollout which, for those in the beta, measures around 650MB, while Android Authority also cites some Samsung changelogs that detail everything new.

Notably, SamMobile also spotted that One UI 9 is now rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
