Leaked images reveal Apple’s new Home smart lock, thermostat, more for LG
Bloomberg reported yesterday that Apple has co-developed new smart home accessories that will launch under LG branding, and leaked images reveal what the smart lock, thermostat, and temperature sensor look like.
Next week, Apple is rumored to launch its long-awaited overhaul of Home products. The company has a new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini coming, plus a brand new product category we’ve been calling ‘HomePad.’
But a Bloomberg report yesterday revealed another piece of Apple’s Home product story. The company has co-developed new Home accessories that will launch under LG branding.
These accessories reportedly include a smart lock, thermostat, temperature sensor, video doorbell, indoor camera, outdoor camera, and floodlight camera.
Now today, leaker pdfu has shared the first images for three of these products: the smart lock, smart thermostat, and temperature sensor.

pdfu’s thread on X includes new details about the products too.
For example, the smart deadbolt lock has a keypad that rotates to open, includes settings for “Touchpad Light Ring, Door Left Audio Alarm, and Lock Sound Volume,” and supports automatic unlocking and more.
Mark Gurman has suggested these new products won’t be ready to ship as early as Apple’s new HomePod and Apple TV. However, there’s a very good chance they’ll still be mentioned by Apple during next week’s announcements.
