Apple releases iPadOS 27.2, here’s everything new for iPad
Apple has released iPadOS 27.2, its latest software update for iPad users. Here’s what’s new.
iPad users, there’s a new software update rolling out now. You can install iPadOS 27.2 by opening Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update.
Apple’s latest update includes a variety of new features across several apps, plus some smaller design changes—especially for Apple Music.
Additionally, if you work on your iPad with a trackpad or mouse, like Apple’s own Magic Keyboard accessory, iPadOS 27.2 brings over a new Siri shortcut from the Mac. It pops up a Siri icon when you select text, which you can hover over to start typing a Siri request about your selection.
iPadOS 27.2 is available on all iPad models that support iPadOS 27.
And if you’re curious why there’s no iPadOS 27.1—Apple reserved the x.1 software cycle for iPhone Duo only.
What are your favorite new features and changes in iPadOS 27.2? Let us know in the comments.
