15 Excellent Horror Games You Can Get On Steam For Less Than $10 Each
It’s Halloween! On a Saturday. I hope you have some free time to enjoy it. If you need something to help you get in the spooky mood, or keep you occupied in-between handing out candy, there’s a bunch of very good horror games that are really cheap on Steam right now.
Resident Evil 2 remake is what it says on the tin, just at one of its lowest prices ever. A Plague Tale: Innocence is a good stealth adventure for those feeling a bit more medieval gothic than usual today. Bella Wants Blood is a clever and mostly overlooked tower defense roguelike with a neat style. Blood Typers is friendslop for people who like vampires and keyboards. Heaven Does Not Respond is old computer monitor creepypasta. The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow is GOTY-league detective fiction. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon might be the best non-Castlevania Castlevania (old-school arcade action platforming). I hadn’t heard of Moldrise before, but it came out last summer and looks exceptionally good as far as atmospheric psychological horror goes.
All of these games are below $10 and have Steam user ratings above 85 percent. All of the games combined will only run you about the price of a new premium release (roughly $70). Happy Halloween!
