The Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 is a dependable laptop that doesn’t cost a fortune, despite being nearly three years old. It’s cheaper than usual right now, and you have a few options in the sub-$400 range. The option with the most storage is currently on sale for $399.99 (about $100 off recent prices) at Amazon. It has a 12th Gen Intel Core i3 processor (1215U), 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. If you don’t think you’ll need that much storage, the model with 128GB is $349.99 at Walmart, and includes a slightly faster 13th Gen Intel Core i3 processor (1315U).
Best Buy has the fastest version of the CX34 that’s discounted to $399.99. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but with the 13th Gen Intel Core i5 1335U. It should deliver significantly better performance compared to the i3 options above.
